Kampot Pepper Direct is now trading as BoTree Seasonings

In order to improve brand continuity, we have shifted from operating as Kampot Pepper Direct to BoTree Seasonings. This name comes from our family farm, BoTree Farm, which is where we produce our award-winning seasonings.

BoTree is a special name to us that comes from the Bodhi tree that overlooks the family farm. Bodhi trees are a symbol of wisdom, and we work to operate with wisdom around sustainability and ethical labour, two of our core values.

Our logo remains the name, just our name has changed to match the logo and products. However, we did want to share this newly expanded logo that includes our tagline, “A Seasoning Renaissance”. At BoTree we are honoured to partner with Cambodian farmers in the reclamation of Kampot pepper decades after the crops were wholly destroyed by the Khmer Rouge regime. “A Seasoning Renaissance” speaks not only to Kampot pepper’s return, but also to our hope that seasoning will once again be seen as a core component of cooking rather than an afterthought.
